Since I own a few semi-autos and no revolvers yet, I've been looking seriously at the SP-101 or the GP-100. The only deciding factor is if I love the revolver concept/feel enough to carry it. Both about the same price and both fire 38 and 357. It's mainly about comfort and size.

It will either be a Security Six in .357 or some kind of .45. All we have now is a .22 and I want something more qualified for home defense. Why a Security Six instead of some other .357, I'm a Ruger fan and I like they they feel and look better than the GP-100

Brought home a P-22 today. OD frame. Fun little gun, put a whole lotta bullets through it. (150?) A few failures to feed on cheap federal bulk 22 I had on hand.

Coming home today... (maybe) or tuesday is an FEG high power that was sitting in the case when I went to pick up the P-22. Cheap, A high power, and I had the money.

1 pistol a few months ago, 2 more this week.... so... 1 a month? If you look at it overall.....

well i've got 3 revolvers (Single Six, GP100, 642) and two semi autos (XD9sc and Witness Match .45)........i just got the 642 a couple days ago so i'm kind of "done for now". I guess i should get a semi auto next but i can't really think of anything i want really badly.

Don't really think i want a .40, maybe a full sized 9mm. CZ75 or perhaps one of those new XDm's when they start selling them in 9mm.

Or maybe a compact .45, one of those Para Warthawgs seem pretty cool but they're kinda spendy

Well, this thread goes on and on. I have since picked up both a HK P30 and P2000sk so I suppose my next gun will either be a HK P7M8 (always looking for those), or a S&W Model 625JM, or 627PC.

Hmmm, it just occurred to me that I'm pretty well all set with handguns - nothing I really want too badly, oddly enough. Having said that, I wouldn't refuse a gift of:

-Witness/Tanfoglio Elite Hunter, 10mm auto
-Dan Wesson Pointman, 10mm auto
-Izhmash IZH-35, .22lr
-Custom 1911 2-stack, in 9x23 Win (full on race gun)
-FN Fiveseven
-HK P7
-Springfield XD tactical, .45 acp

Oh wait, there is one "handgun" I want, really only because it may become banned, and that's an AK47 style "pistol", in 7.62x39mm.

Why? Don't get me wrong. I know it's a "gimmick" gun for the most part, but I have a ton of guns I got for no other reason than to just goof with.

(Yeah... I know about the whole firing out of battery/KABOOM thing. Same crap goes around about Glocks. Not good enough.)

Well,I just received my Glock 26 from Glock yesterday. My next pistol after this one will either have to be in .40 S&W caliber, or in .45 ACP. I suppose that will not be for a while though, unless there truly is a Free Gun Faerie (you had to be on another thread to get that one).
