What would you do in this situation?

I was watching a show on E! today that talked about this guy in Arizona who kidnapped two girls at gunpoint and raped them. He then proceeded to tie them both up and put them in the back seat of his Bronco truck.

He pulled his car over into a desolate area and fell asleep in the driver's seat while these girls are alive and awake in the back seat with a bowie knife that he forgot was in the car. One of the girls managed to get free and stabbed the guy in the neck while he was sleeping.

If you were in this situation and had only one chance to kill the maniac who kidnapped you, where would you stab him? Keep in mind that the kidnapper, although sleeping, had two guns on his person.

I ask this because the stab to the neck did not kill the kidnapper....he managed to drive the car away and finally got into a shootout with police during which time he was shot and killed.

i would grab his hair rench his head back and slit his throat. but thats just me. i felt threatened and kidnapped and came upon that oppertunity i would capture it and move to survive. you dunno if he is gonna kill you later or let you go.

Grab him around the neck with your arm and pull back hard. Reach around with other arm while holding knife, and stab the guy just under his zyphoid process with a sharply angled upward thrust as hard as you can, then twist the blade repeatedly while trying to pull it out. If you can get it out, keep stabbing, if you cannot get it out keep twisting. As has been known throughout history since at least Roman times, and probably earlier, a stabbing wound is more likely to incapacitate or kill than is a slashing wound. You are also more liley to give it enough oomph with a stab to the area, than you would be with a slash to the neck.

I have to say, there is no second guessing the gal who stabbed him, apparently that did the job of freeing them and ending the threat to them, or at least it led to that end. Good for them.

If he was asleep leaning forward I would thrust the knife in to the back of his neck just below the skull, severing the connection from his brain to his spinal cord. This would surely and permanently incapacitate him. If he was leaning back in the seat then he'd get get it through the side if his neck, hopefully slicing his wind pipe allowing the scumbag to drown in his own blood.

Congratulations to the girls for getting free. I only wish they could have escaped before they were raped.

He's asleep. The eyeball offers a direct route to the brainbox. Stick it in as deep as possible - pound on the end of the handle if you need to. Wiggle it around a bit.

If nothing else it will hurt. What's that word they use instead of "Payback"?

There is no nice way to kill someone with a knife. But that doesn't mean a thread on the topic has to degenerate into sheer barbarism. I have removed one particularly offensive post from this thread, and warned the offending member regarding unacceptable conduct here on THR.
