Anyone who turn's in a weapon, pos or not for a piddly ass $100 is a moron. It's not about the profit, it's about how this administration keep's pushing and pushing and pushing, chipping and chipping away at our Constituional Right's. When do we stop? Certainly not by taking handout's for your gun's. They are your gun's, not their's. Did they buy them for you? Buy back my ass. Don't go, period. It's just that simple. Moron's
If the buy back is mandatory then nothing I turn in will be serviceable
Stripped lowers beaten with a hammer
Same with frames, magazines, any other thing required
That is about $50-$75 more than I could get otherwise. Besides, it was a hypothetical question. I live in Georgia. Never heard of any buy(back) operations except for metro Atlanta.
Not the OP, and others. They are talking about turning in real guns based on a buy back that does not exist. Lumped with all the ban/confiscation hysteria, obama's a king who will do anything, the Constitution is dead, executive orders and martial law, etc, etc.Joe, the insults are not helping. I know you've been around only a couple of weeks and perhaps are not fully aware of how things work around here just yet, but cool it.
Most of the comments, if you have understood them, are people talking about abusing their little system with broken toys and junk scrap metal that resembles, or was once, a firearm. Breaking the system from the inside, so to speak. If all they get for their time, effort and money is broken junk and zero impact on crime, these moronic "buy-backs" might come to an end. No one is, and I'll quote one of your favorite lines, "pissing their panties" over buy backs. We're laughing at them and discussing how to exploit them.
The OP said something about tomato stakes, and laughing at what guns they would pay $100-$200 dollars for. He specifically mentioned buying an unreliable jamomatic and flipping it at a voluntary but back for a profit. I'm not reading the same panic posts as you, I suppose. Not the OP, and others. Yeah, I'm learning how things work on this board. Sad. There is no point in debating these people. They need to be mocked.
Wonder if I saw it down another two inches I could get more from it .
Try using only Ramline magazines in it. They made the original 30-round magazine for the Tec-22 and it has an added extra nub on the left feed lip that greatly assists in ejection. Most other brands do not have this nub, as the Ruger 10/22 doesn't need it. I have found the Ramline 25-round works 100% in my Tec-22. YMMV though. For instance, my friend has a tec22 that is a total POS. It jams, doubles, jams again, then poops itself. Every range trip.
