I'm 48 and I got my first firearm (Marlin 'Glenfield 60') for Christmas when I was 12. I can't even remember when I started with BB and pellet guns.

33 years old and i've been shooting since i was about 6... Daisy red ryder when i was about 8, ole winchester single shot smoothbore when i was 10... the rest is history and my gunsafe is over capacity... I hunt, shoot, fiddled in some smallbore competition when i was younger and mainly compete with myself and my ability to make a firearm perform these days... Been handloading for almost 15 years and i do some gunsmithing work here and there, have put a few rifles together for friends and myself and what not... I'd like to take up some high power competition if time permits in the near future...

Started shooting at 17. My first firearm was a M14 loaned to me my the Army. Haven't stopped since so at 57 that would make 40 years.

Does my Shootin' Shell Fanner Fifty count? If so add another 10 years.

34, I got my first pellet rifle back when I had to lean the muzzle against a tree to pump it up. My first .22 when I was 11 and my first 357mag when I was 13.

I am 35, and I took my first shot from a "real" gun when I was probably five or six years old. I think I took my first BB gun shot when I was maybe 3.

Nearly 75 years old. Have been a competitive shooter since 18. Not as easy now and scores are dropping a bit. Did shoot a hundred shot OH 50' indoor match last weekend and scored a 932 out of 1000 on A-17 targets.

25. I had been shooting a few times during my early teenage years at a family friend's farm but I didn't actually purchase my first gun until last November.

I'm 46 and did target shooting as early as 9, but then didn't shoot again until this past december. I am buying a shotgun for trap shooting in 2 weeks.

51 y/o and at it for 44 yrs. From plinking :) to hunting :) to handloading and collecting :) which only led to even more shooting. :D :D :D

I'm 28 and have been shooting since age 10. First gun was a crossman air rifle. I was then in boy scouts and participated in all the small bore I could get my hands on. I didn't shoot much in college (too damn poor) but after graduating rediscovered this hobby and have been plinking and target shooting since.

Now I shoot and collect everything from revolvers, AR's, M1A's, FALs, 1911's, 10/22's, MarkII's, Model 41's, to .50bmg I plan on participating in my first IDPA style match on Monday. I hope to participate in my first "Appleseed Shoot" in March. Strangely enough I've never been hunting (but I've been begging some coworkers to take me). This is really the only hobby my father and I share.
