I need cash for another project so I am thinking of selling my Browning A-Bolt .22 mag. It is in great shape (not perfect) maybe 90%. With leapold mounts/rings and a brand new Browning 4-14 AO scope (it's a bushnel elite I think). What do you think would be a good price. I have looked at gunbroker and auction arms to compare but there aren't many and none with scopes.

I couldn't say for an accurate value on the rifle but probably some others will be along who can.

Will suggest that - if the scope is any good - you should keep it and sell just the rifle with the bases and rings. The reason is because you'll probably get very close to the same money for just the rifle and mounts as you would get for the rifle with the scope included.

Also - this board has a Classified section and you may find some pricing elp there too.

Good Luck !

Thanks

That's a good idea I might consider removing the scope. I was planning on putting it on the for sale section but I need to come up with a price first.

Still have the browning a-bolt .22mag? Is it the model with NO iron sites? How much did you decide you want for it?

With that class rifle your main "competition" will probably be the .22 magnums that CZ and Ruger have out there. Maybe a look at what kind of prices (for used rifles) they are being listed at with will help you out. ???? I would say though, that I think the listing prices for used Ruger 77/22s are pretty high even though it is a good rifle.

I still have it. I just decided to sell it this morning. Send me a pm. Shawnee it is the same class as the CZ, the Ruger is less accurate, but the main difference is that the Browning is no longer made and is classier looking. It has the rosewood forearm, no sites and a huge (for a .22 mag) action. I still haven't figured out why Browning stopped making these guns (3rd one)
