Man, this thread has been around for a while. I just rotated out my house gun. Now, I've got my USP 45 w/ 230 grain Hydra Shoks and Surefire G2 w/in arms length.
On the right hip: Kimber Classic Stainless 1911A1 .45 w/9 rds of 230g Gold Dot.
Right pocket: CRKT M16-13Z folder, and crappy 4" no-name locking folder.
Behind left hip: two 8-rd mags of Gold Dot 230 g and an ASP expandable baton.
In my vest, left side: Kel-Tec P-11 stuffed with 11 rds of Gold Dot 125g 9mm.
It's sad when I wear less armament when on duty at work than Tamara does when she lounges around the house listening to the stereo and fiddling with THR!
Since I am at work, the only thing on my hip is my ID badge. But when I am not at work, it is a Glock 30, 26, or 19 depending on what I am wearing, or what mood I am in.
On the hip right now, Colt lwt commander XSE, 230g golden saber, and always a beretta 950s with fmj in a pocket holster. I can't remeber who made it-----very nicely done. It was made in "93" and has the craftsman initials TR. Does anybody know who this might be? Seems like it's eye sight, knees, and then memory that goes. What's next????
Since my college campus doesn't allow weapons, my CZ-75 with 15 Hydra-Shoks sits in the bed-side table. If I do carry (when Im shooting in the middle of nowhere) its mostly Mexican Carry
Springfield Armory 1911A1, manufactured 12/12/85, loaded with Cor-Bon 230gr. Summer Special IWB. It's heavy (the 1911), and not the most comfortable thing to be sharing space with me and my pants, but goes boom every time I squeeze/press/pull the trigger, and, that's the whole point, isn't it?
SPG, that is the person who made my pocket holster! Great job on skimpy information. Does Thad Rybka still make holsters and do you have his address---I can't find him on the internet,. Jon
Kimber Ultra CDP II in a DeSantis belly band. Most comfortable carry I've yet found.
Greetings fellas. First post. This looks like the board I've been searching for for years. Something to discuss my first love; guns and the Second Amendment. I look forward to many interesting conversations.
