On my side it's an Argentine BHP loaded with 124gr jhp and an Essex 1911a1 loaded with 230gr jhp in reach. On my wife's side is a stainless Ruger Security Six 4", loaded with ith 158gr sjhp and a Mossberg 500 20ga with 6 #3 buckshot leaning on the wall by her nite stand. I forgot to mention my "tac light" and her 4" spotlight.

Well since my bed is a vintage waterbed that's been converted to a conventional California King complete with the under drawer dressers and the big fancy mirrored wood headboard with both night lights in it and lots of storage space, my 1911 .45, 9mm Modelo Super 8, 9mm Hi-Power & my .380 Bersa Thunder can all be found in the headboard and my tactical 12 gauge pump is sitting right next to it. All the handguns are loaded with privy partisan JHP's & the 12 gauge is loaded w/ 00' Buck. Basically I think things are fairly well covered in case anything goes bump in the night ...

Not staged.. that’s a genuine mess. There normally another whiskey bottle and the flashlight glows in the dark so I’d have to have the lights out to find it... police m&p40 with night sights. Ruger single six Is loaded with shot shells for mice or packrats ( my wife shakes me awake if she hear any scampering...)

On my nightstand? Tiffany style lamp, necklaces and bracelets, scale for weighing kava, ruger lcr in 327, speedloader, 32h&r ammo for occasional night loading, snap caps, box ov .454 round ball that I use to hold atop my phone charger cord so it doesn't pop out ov the phone when charging, a seal figurine, and a walrus figurine(I like pinnipeds).
