What's the easiest firearm you've ever disassembled?

Ruger Mk I. Once it's clear, remove magazine, pull down the little lever, pull out the bolt stop pin, and slide off the receiver, pull out the bolt. You might need a small "tool" to pull the lever down when new, but once broken in, a fingernail works fine. Ditto the receiver, a sharp blow from a non-marring hammer when new. But my MK I just need a rap from the palm of my hand.

Now some folks make a big deal about getting it back together. But, "IF" they read the instructions, it goes back together just a easily. Problem is they just don't spend the time to fully read the instructions.

Taking things apart and putting them back together has always come natural to me, much to my parents chagrin.

easiest...1911, k98, ar-15, glocks, pre-64 model 70 and model 12, c96, hi-points, ect...

hardest...Savage O/U (untill I discovered the use of slave pins), and any gun that requires specialized tools when you don't have said specialized tool.

I think some people might want to re-read the original question.

Not "Field Strip". Not "cleaning stripped". Fully disassembled down to the last screw, bolt, extractor, pin, etc. That means that any part that is not permanently installed is able to be replaced or handled on its own.

For me it's gotta be either a 1911 or S&W N Frame for ease of disassembly (with the N frame coming second because of the slotted screwdriver you need for the sight assembly to remove the back blade) for handgun, and a VZ-58 (as long as your front handguard isn't roll-pinned with a 6 sizes too large pin) for long gun. VZ beats out the AK since there's no rivet to remove.

@LawofThirds
My thoughts exactly.

particularly when I see someone say SKS, I know how much of a pita it is to tear apart and reassemble that trigger.

I am almost completely mechanically disinclined and a Mosin is as easy as anything I've ever taken apart completely.

Field stripping?

Handgun:
H&K P7M8/10/13. No levers to remove, no tools, no hand/barrel/trigger thing. Oh, you need to use your thumbnail if you also want to pull out the firing striker. And that great sound and feel of high-grade steel;

Rifle:
FNH PS-90. It seems to just pull apart with no effort in to the 6 major rifle good groups. It's like a Lego demo.

I haven't found any guns I've owned that are particularly difficult to disassemble. For easy disassembly I vote for the SR Ruger series (just about the same as the Glock) and the AR 15.

I dont think everyone got this memo. :)
I have found all are easy to detail strip. Putting them back together however can be tedious.
^I LOVE this!
Tippmann 98 custom
^My Spyder Imagine was pretty easy if IIRC

I've fully disassembled:
Springfield XD9 - Many punches needed, not so easy
Mosin M44 & M91/30 - Pretty easy
Cobray Mod R - Only a few removable parts, 2 tools needed
Ruger 10/22 - My pins are so loose they fall out, accidently disassembled

I've taken everything off my S&W 637 except the crane/cylinder, so I can't count that one.

Ancient thread, but I have not yet replied. :)

Tippmanns are a giant pain in the ass with that clamshell design and all those tiny parts. I used to work at a field fixing paintball guns. Spyders and Spyder clones could be broken down to its base components, fixed, and reassembled in minutes. Very simple guns. Same goes for the higher end electronic stacked tubed guns and a couple of the spool valve guns if you read the manual.

I've never had a reason to detail strip any of my firearms. I've always been able to get them nice and clean with a simple field strip and a cleaning kit. That being said, my MP9c, Glock, and CZ75 are probably my favorite to field strip. I dont mind taking the 1911 apart, but its a bit more complicated than those three IMO

I know I have a previous entry on here but given some thought I think I have a new canidate:

PSL

More specifically my friend's which explosively disassembled itself in my face a few years back. Easiest since all I had to do was pull the trigger.
