All that crap makes an airweight J-frame in the pocket rather simple and civilized, no?
One time I went to the range and rented a 9mm Beretta. That gun was terrible, could barely even hit the silloutte target at 20 feet away.
For something that "sucks" there certainly seems to be quite a few people planted in the ground due to it.True. Didn't slow down Batman, though, did it?
Umm, I looked up J-frame revolvers. They don't look like they have much stopping power with their short barrels, low muzzle velocity, and low caliber. Not sure if they meet minimum FBI standards as testing on The Box of Truth. Might be a worse weapon than a taser...
Don't get me wrong fellas, if this comparison were between a 12 gauge or an AR-15 with a full mag and a taser, the long gun wins every time. But handguns are crap. They really are. Every test I've ever seen on a The Box of Truth, the handgun sucks. Bad. One time I went to the range and rented a 9mm Beretta. That gun was terrible, could barely even hit the silloutte target at 20 feet away. By comparison, I've nailed the 300m target again and again with the basic sights on an M16.
My J frame is a .357Magnum with 135gr Gold Dot Short Barrel ammo. Would you stand in front of it and let me fire one off.True. Didn't slow down Batman, though, did it?

Tasers are a less lethal tool; not less than lethalQuote Highorder
"Show me one place in the United States where assault with a deadly weapon isn't a felony.
Before you tell me that a taser isn't a deadly weapon, refer to your own rough numbers:"
Tasers have been ruled in court and are generally considered "Less than Lethal" therefore not a deadly weapon.
