The one that comes to mind would be the North American Arms Guardian. I had one that was brutal on my trigger finger, but maybe it's the way to go for a small, high quality firearm. Any other suggestions for a very reliable, long lasting pocket sized thing?

Kind of depends on how big your pockets are, but a small frame .38 or .357 revolver would be better than a North American Arms Guardian. A pocket's not a good place for any firearm though. Lint, dirt, etc.

Alot of people like their Colt Mustangs. There's also the Colt Pocket Nine and the Pony, although some people will dispute how great or high quality they are.

I own a NAA Guardian .380, and yes it is a very small, high quality firearm. I have yet to put it through a sufficient quantity of ammo to determine it’s reliability.

The Berettas are also excellent quality. I have a model 21 in .22lr, stainless. It looks great with my Gemtech Vortex 2 suppressor mounted on it. Reliability however is not the best. I think this has more to do with the round than the actual design of the firearm.

Have the NAA .380 with around 400 rounds through it so far and love it. Needed around 150 rounds through it to become reliable, but now it is 100%. Thinking about the carry package next.

What about the Sig P232 ? Everything else Sig puts out oozes with quality, and price. :D

It depends on what caliber you are talking about.
In 9mm my choices would be Kahr PM9 or Rohrbaugh. The sigP239 is to bulky and heavy.
In 380 the Sig P232.
In 32 mm.the Seecamp.

I've never shot a Rohrbaugh nor have I recommended one but all I can say is that for 900 friggin bucks it damn well BETTER be one of the highest quality pocket pistols!

I've never shot a Rohrbaugh myself either, but from what I've heard they are top quality (whether or not they are reliable).

Good question, "Has anybody actually shot the Rohrburg?"

I have not shot the Rohrburg but I have handled and examined the gun at "The Long Island Shooting Center" and found the workmanship to be excellent as fart as I can judge. I have read of others on this forum that have shot it and gave their opinions, and I just read the comparison of Rohrburg vs. Kahr PM9 in the
current "Gun Tests" mag. They preferred the Kahr but did state that the workmanship on both guns was excellent. The initial thread was "Which pocket
gun had the overall best quality?" It is possible to produce excellent workmanship and still encounter some small problems that need to be tweaked.
The other guns I referred to in my earlier post I have had personal expierence
with.

I have shot a Rohrbaugh R9s. I got mine in June, after ordering it at the Shot Show. They offered it at a special price and after shipping I paid my dealer(who I work for) $800. I have shot only two kinds of ammo, Winchester white box from Walmart(100 rd box -115gr) and 115 JHP Gold Dots (100 rounds- and my carry round). There were no malfunctions of any kind and accuracy was really good for me as I have been carrying a Keltec P3AT for the last year. I really got spoiled carrying the P3AT, because it is so light and flat that no other gun can ever come close to matching it for carry. The R9s is a little heavier and fatter, but it shoots a 9mm instead of a 380, and I know it will shoot every time I pull the trigger. My P3AT's trigger axis broke after round 45 and it wouldn't shoot. After Keltec repaired it, I had no other problems with it, but it made me nervous to carry it because the trigger axis could break again, maybe when my life depended on it. I also have a Kahr PM9 and have had no problems with it. It just won't fit in most of my pant's pockets. I hope this helps those of you with questions about the R9s.

anybody got an idea for a good sauce for Quesodias(sp?)

Eh?! You don't put sauce on quesadillas except maybe some fresh salsa. What are you from the East Coast or something?! Oh....er.... :neener:

salsa?? lol I HAVE that... We are not THAT far behind the power curve..:D

The place where I work has a "roachcoach" that comes twice a day (yea I FINALLY was able to get a regular job..of course I messed my arm up really bad, which kinda hurts that holster business stuff BUT ALAS that is another tale)...The owner is a mex. that has his wife and oldest girls cooking for him...The thing that they put on the taco's and such is some sort of a green sauce that is slightly spicey...I LOVE THE STUFF..just cant figure out what it is...Gotta marry me a latino womens to cook for me:D

Ashendale beat me to it - old Colt automatics - gentlemens' pistols. I have a 1903 in .32ACP, and its quality is superb. The magazines slide into the magwell like they're buttered. Being 83 years old, mine has its share of scrapes and dings - but it's never malfunctioned on me, and can regularly hit clay pigeons at 25 yards.
