What's the most strange/uncommon caliber you've owned/fired?

.308 .... Revolver! Had a 4" barrel, 5 shot. Some weird thing a guy in Brazil had back in the 90's. Not terrible but wasnt a plinking gun either.

I've got a Remington 700 in .222 Remington Magnum. Its really only interesting because it is a dead cartridge. It is also expensive as all get out to shoot just for that reason.

7x61mm Sharp&Hart converted to .30 cal.

Built on a 1903 Springfield with a Weaver scope where adjustments are made at the rear ring.

Had to reform brass after sending a cerrosafe cast to RCBS.

1/2 MOA with Sierra 180's.

Previous owner couldn't get anyone to figure out what it was !

.445 super. A guy at the range had it and offered me a couple shots if he could take a turn with my rhino. It was amazing. Otherwise... 20mm.

Uncommon caliber? That would be 0.464".
Uncommon cartridge?...577/450 or the 7.62 MicroWhisper.

25mm, 40mm and 105mm........... but i didnt own those

in small arms, .45-70, .444, 5.45, .22wrf im sure theres a few strange ones out there. 6.5 jap was nice-ish

I owned and shot a 1914 Savage Model 1899 takedown levergun in 22 high power(5.6x52R euro designation). 70gr bullet at around 3000fps. Neat gun but I sold it when I discovered it ws keyholing at 25yds and had excessive headspace. Ammo was too expensive anyway.

Probably the most uncommon caliber I've fired is 6mm PPC. Happened to be sharing the range with a very serious benchrest shooter and he let me fire off two shots with his rifle. I swear that trigger would break if you looked at it wrong!
