An early 1800's musket that was originaly a flintlock and was converted to a percussion. Maker unknown. Passed down from the Billingsleys to the Vernons to my grandmother Goodnight and to me. Need to have someone give me more info on it. Also have a 1903 Colt .32 that I love. Was made about 1927.

Remington model 51 .380 ACP. Patton carried one in his waitband in WWII. Best feeling handgun of all my pistols and VERY thin. Machining is superb.

Winchester model 1897, solid frame version, manufactured in 1903. Been in the family since it was bought by my great gre... grandfather.

I have a Winchester Signal Cannon from the late 1800's. Since it isn't in front of me I will say 1897. And the Serial number is one hundred and (X). It was my Grandfathers. I still fire it off on the 4th of July.
I love it when people around me think it is a Carbide Cannon. What a shock to their senses when that 10 gauge black powder shell lets loose.

Olde Swede

A 1902 Carl Gustav 96/38 Mauser. Originally, a model 96 when built, one of 38,00 0 or so that were cut down to model 38 specs. And a Colt 1903 built in 1932 and just recently a Kar98 built in 1937.

Winchester model 1912 12 ga. Made in 1913,( I've been told it's one of the first 12 ga. models) and still a shooter.

E Robinson contract musket, 1863

If not that, 1882 Springfield Trapdoor

If not that, 1892 Mannlicher-Berthier Lebel Carbine

If not that, 1900 Oberndorf Swede Mauser

If not that, 1903 Gustav Swede Mauser

If not that, 1913 Winchester 97

If not that, 1918 P17 Enfield

If not that, 1918 S&W M1917

If not that, ... it just goes on and on

A Russian Mosin Nagant, manufacture date, 1944.

The newest is probably the Marlin 1894c, manufactured in 2005.

Mine's a Jukebox

I have a Rock-Ola from 1942.

Makes a lot of noise, for a jukebox.

Just go here and scroll over to 1942.

All I have to do is feed it the brass coin that it loves and it plays the music I love.

Mosin Nagant, manufactured originally as a M91/30 in 1938 at the Tula arsenal, then converted to a M91/59 carbine. Found it at a local gun store for $95, I wasn't paying attention and thought I was buying an M38. I didn't notice my mistake till I was half way through the paperwork. The owner of the gunstore had been mistaken as well, explaining the low price for an immaculate M91/59. These later carbine conversions are more rare and valuable than a regular M38 which it was marked as on the price tag. I didn't correct him on his mistake :D

Colt 1911

Mine is a colt 1911, the last copyright date on it is 1928. It also has an Argintine army issue Stamp on it with a crest in the middle of it. I bought it from a guy that was strapped for cash about 25 yrs ago Pd $50.00 for it  .....That about all i know about it all the serial numbers match with the exception of the barrel. I wish i knew more than that....... Rick

The oldest gun I own is my great grandfathers damascus 12 gauge double made in 1884 but it hasn't been fired in 60+ years. The oldest I shoot is my Webley MK II made in 1895.

2 possibilities. One is a ward and westerfield single shot bolt action .22lr. It has no serial number or date. Bought sometime during the 30s or 40s by my grandfather. Other possible at this point is a sort of zip gun made from a rolling block type action and made into a pistol, don't think it started life that way. My dad got it for me from the estate auction of a former sheriff.

Just thought, the arisaka 99 I have could be about similar age to the W&W.

I am considering buying a winchester 1897 made in the mid 20s. Not to mention the enfield I have on layaway.
