1950 dated (Tula) SKS,blade bayo&laminate stock.
Unfortunately, when Ivan or Pavel rearsenaled it back in the Rodina;he must have hit the vodka already-the bayonet pin has been riveted. It i sfunctional, and I could brak/remove th erivet with the right tools and elbow grease;but it DOES bug me.
Oh,yeah;they also neglected to reinstall the safety spring-it is also functional;but does not "click"positively on and off.It works, and has no compromised funtion but it IS something I'd like to remedy.
Otherwise,a solid shooter with a (ssuprisingly )decent trigger pull. Not unusual to get 2.5 to 3 inch groups with my (declining) stash of Chicom steel core,or Yugo flat based ball.
