Right now, it's an 1891 Argentine Mauser made in 1893. That's a year older than my 1894 Gew88. I did have an 1858 Remington New Model Army.

Henry Leman of Lancaster PA percussion squirrel rifle. 38" Octagon barrel, half stock with pewter forend cap, deep rifling, cap box in stock and brass tacks put there by someone years ago. Somewhere around 1860, I'd guess. Only flaw is the hammer had broken and was brazed back together. Bought it out of an estate.

Argentine contract Mauser model 1891 made by DWM. Still a good shooter. Actual date of manufacture unknown.

Oldest Gun

Mine is a common Sears Model 200 Pump Shotgun (Winchester Model 1200)given to me about 45 years ago by my Father. It is also the most valuable (to me) gun I own.

1896 swedish mauser manufacture date 1915 Carl Gustafs armory in 6.5x55 all matching serial #'s. Will still shoot 1 1/2 moa at 100 yards if I do my part right.

Oldest ones I have left are a Remington Model 10 12 gauge and a model 94 saddle ring from the 30's.

Had a few really nice older ones, but let them slip through my fingers :)

Oldest - Remington single shot .22 LR. 1935? - My dad can't remember exactly when he got it and most of the marking have been worn off from use. Still nails pop cans at 50 yards and the rifle I teach first time shooters with.

Purchased - Mosin 91/30 - 1938 - The cleanest Mosin I have and sitting unfired waiting for my son to get old enough for.

I have a model 94 Winchester Golden Spike Commemorative that my dad bought in 1969. New in the box never shot.
