1-iver johnson bicycle works "Champion"20 ga choke bore single shot age ? According to Blue book these were made from 1909 to1956 don't have serial numbers. still shoots but it is OLD.
2-REM 22 single shot model 41 "Targetmaster" handed down by my uncle who is 85 now. he had it as a teenager. so 1941 or so
3-My grandpas Quail gun model 12 nickel steel-16ga cyl bore dates to late 1930's
4-my first shotgun when i was about 8, was a Fox Sterlingworth 20 ga Mod and Full, 1930 or 40s it is a philadelphia fox, too much drop in stock kicks like a mule! i shot lots of squirrels, rabbits, doves, snipe, and ducks with it until a got a 12ga. Model 12 Winchester when i was 15. My uncle purchased this very well used double for $12 from a friend, he had some repairs done to it for another $12, I couple of years later i was dry firing it and broke one of the firing pin parts and paid $18 to have it repaired. My uncle carved a walnut beavertail forend for it as it had a non matching splinter type forend when he bought it for me.
5-My first 22 , given to me used in about 1963 or so Stevens model 66C(tube magazine) ,it is my most accurate 22.
