What's your favorite 9mm handgun & why?

My favorite 9mm in the bag is my HS-2000. A very natural pointer, and the most accurate gun I have.

My Glock 19 is probably #2. Haven't shot the "New" G-17 enough yet to have an opinion on it.

My CZ-75B-SA, with trigger job. Great trigger, soaks up the recoil, even with +P loads, and it is "one-hole" accurate at handgun ranges.

We'll see if my custom BHP surpases it when it comes back from the 'smith in a few months.

BHP or suitable clone.

Good accuracy, excellent reliability, similar controls to a 1911, skinny for a hi-cap, skinny slide, easy to find magazines, good ergonomics.

Pretty much sums it up for me.

Favorite 9mm?

I have 3. A Ruger P95, Sig 239 and a Hi-Power MK III.

This question is like asking a man which kid is his favorite.

I love all three. The Ruger because it was my first. The Sig because it is so accurate and consealable. The Browning is a classic.

But the Sig is my current favorite. Then again I did just buy the Hi-Power, time will tell

Browning High Power, more specifically, my BHP Practical.

--Fits me like no other gun.
--Reliable.
--Accurate enough.

1918 DWM P-08.

It just feels perfect in the hand and when shooting. One of, if not THE, original 9mm's. ;)

I have a plethora of 9mms....
which one is the best?

BHP
followed closely by a Tupperware G19

HS/LD

My Browning HP Practical for the same reasons you cite.

However, when the Kahr PM9 becomes more available in this area(i.e., when the prices come down!), I may need to change my mind.

I've got both extremes covered... CZ-75B and SIG P210. CZ for a practical weapon and SIG for sheer niceness factor.

My new favorite is a S&W 3913 TSW (as of last week). It feels great in my hand and is very accurate.

Looking at the scores, I'll throw my vote to the SiG P226. Amazing smooth trigger in both double and single action, right out of the box. Comfortable to shoot, accurate, and pretty spiffy looking.

Although my wife's 9 by 23 STI is pretty slick. With some spring swapping, it can run 9 by 19, 9 by 21, 9 by 23, and 38 Supercomp. Need to get a box of 9 by 18 and see if it will handle the baby 9mm too :)

Well

I have a Beretta 9000fs and I love it. Fits like a glove and shoots better than I do.;) I may find something better but not till I catch up with this one. Easy to carry CCW too, and takes high cap. Mags.

Another vote for the BHP...for all the reasons already mentioned.
I have two , a '66 T-series , and a '94 FN . These are the only two pistols that I will (probably) never part with .

Browning Hi-Power, standard polished blue with fixed sights and Spegel grips. Add a C&S trigger jog and you are all set.

Mine is the Glock 34.... it has all the right stuff, right weight, right size, right capacity, right accessories, right trigger pull, it even has the right night sights! It's also accurate and easy to shoot fast and well.

It is, simply stated, The Best Pistol Ever Built!

:D :p :D

CZ-75 or BHP, with the Sig P-228 yapping at their heels. The CZ does get a little bit more of a nod due to more options and the price compared to a BHP.

3 really nice 9mm's

Springfield 1911 in 9mm: Stainless, cocobolo grips, soaks-up recoil...beautiful!

CZ 75B: BHP looks, ergonomics at half the price.

Hi-Point: Cheap, but a great "throw-down" pistol!:uhoh:

Own three 9mm's:
Ruger P89
Ruger P95
Kahr K9

My favorite is the Ruger P95, my latest acquisition. Still testing loads, but so far it likes the Federal 147gr HS. I was shocked to put five out of five into the X ring with it.
