Hey guys! I just wanted to make a thread asking you all what your favorite make and model gun is? Handgun, shotgun, rifle, hunting, tactical, self defense, and any of the above!

Much as I like the above comments,..I'd say my most, most favorite is a revolver. A 3 inch heavy barreled J frame Model 36,..blued with oversized stocks. A very close second would be a Single action 4 5/8 inch Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 magnum.

Just because.........

I was thinking of certain calibers and actions but now that you mention it; the last one and the next one. Good point.

Love my Kimber Custom II .45, love my Glock 20 10mm, love my Ruger Super Blackhawk 44mag.
Love my SA SOCOM16, love my Springfield Trapdoor 45/70, love my pre 64 Winchester 94, love my Winchester 86 45/70 cowboy, love my Schmidt-Rubin K31, love my Husqvarna .243, love my Browning Superposed, love my Browning Cynergy, love my Remington 1100 Special Field English Stock.

those are my favorites :p

My favorite gun is an air rifle gamo .177 that I got when I was 12 A LONG TIME AGO. When my dad handed that one to me I will remember that one like no other.
Cheers,
E.

I have gotten to the point, after many years of buying and trading guns, then kicking myself many times for getting rid of certain ones that all the guns I currently own, which is not a large number by any means, are liked equally!

I don't have many guns, but the ones I do have, there really are no favorites! They each serve a different function and they each have pros and cons (mostly pros). I also equally enjoy shooting any and all of them! I reload for all of them (except .22 and shotgun).

Also, I feel that there are no guns that I need to have.
I have enough assortment that I can hunt anything in the world (my 500 Magnum is advertized that it will kill anything on the planet).

Hard question. I have lots of favorite guns, some of which I already own, some I don't. Rifles, pistols, shotguns, they are all different...

But as for the one that really moves me the most, it would probably be the Colt M1917 New Service.

I spent my entire childhood with an interest in WWI and WWII, and every time I saw this pistol come up in a movie or text book, I had a little moment of revelation. It's really left a mark on me.

Haven't purchased it yet. But I will, someday. I'm waiting to find the one for me...

My favorite gun would be a rifle. Specifically which one is hard to say. I've always had a soft spot for rifles. :)

I have more guns than I need and none of the ones I want. The ones I enjoy shooting the most are rimfires. The older I get the more fun the little rimfires bring. For me that makes them favorites. Of those I have a fondness for a Ruger 10/22 and a CZ 452. Both for different reasons.

Maybe a better way to think of this would be if you could only keep one gun , what would it be? After owning it 35 years it would be my 1951 M 70 30-06. It's kind of dull to bring it to the range[ dialed in 57 gr 4350, 180 Nosler years ago] But is without question the last gun I would sell. So I guess that makes it the favorite.

Right now, as in this moment when I'm typing this up? Winchester 52B.

Totally subject to change in about 5 minutes. I have lots of favorites. I'll pick one, for the purpose of the thread, but don't expect me to answer the same way twice.

My favorite is one that was on the wanted list since I was knee high to a grasshopper, but also on the list of guns I could never afford. Well I found one I could and have never regretted dropping the cash for it. A pedersoli quigley sharps in 45-70 with soule lr tang and globe front. Absolutely beautiful, cheap to reload for, amazingly tiny groups, and the awesome factor every time I hold it. Yep definately my favorite
