If THEY can't get a handle on 15 million illegals, how are THEY going to handle 100 million gun owners and 250 million guns?

Because MOST gun owners are law abiding citizens, while it's fairly clear that illegal aliens are not.

The unfortunate fact is that if tomorrow all semi autos were magically banned, a good portion of gun owners would line up to turn them in.

If you guys are so concerned about them banning all guns or going door-to-door, you wouldn't be here second-guessing the enemy on teh internets. You'd be out attending protests, writing letters to elected representatives, and engaging in other forms of activism to make sure it doesn't come down to this scenario.
