Where to Hide Guns?

Ok. Totally Hypothetical Situation!

A lot of people say that if the government issued a total gun ban, they would hide their guns and ammo.
I sure don't want to give away thousands of dollars worth of things I worked hard to pay for.
So in this hypothetical scenario, what would you do?

My concept was to bury my safe in my back yard, or something crazy like that.
Under floor boards in the attic? Pipe Clamped to the chassis of my truck in a plastic bag? In walls?

This was always something I thought would be fun to talk about. So many people have so many different ideas.
Lay em on me!

I wouldn't bury anything in my own backyard unless I knew ahead of time and had plenty of time for the sod to grow back.

The vehicle one is actually a good one. I've never thought of that before.

Pretty much any place you can think of cops already know about. They've gotten pretty good at searching for drug stashes in people's homes and cars.

well, in a HYPOTHETICAL scenario of course...

I'd air-tight wrap everything and bury them far from any gas lines or cables. I would then pray that the feds dont come in with metal detectors

also, since this is hypothetical, I would also maybe try to get as much money back as possible by selling them to someone--even criminals. The way I figure, if I'm going to act stupid enough to bury them away from the feds, then selling them off illegally wouldnt be too much worse from a legal perspective. Either way, I'm dead if I get caught.

I could also consider burying them out somewhere in the middle of nowhere, where no one would ever find them (there are a few places I can think of for this)

Oh, I love the smell of fear and uncertaintity. Heller is going our way so a ban isn't going to happen (anytime soon at least). Also, any ban legislation must pass Congress and there is a majority of pro-2nd amendment politicians in both houses. Yes, majority, because some Dems learned from what happened to others careers when they voted for the '94 AWB.

And then you go somewhere where the government or other entity inspects vehicles and they roll that mirror under the truck. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near someone when the saw a pipe clamped under a truck.

Honestly, I've picked up a few items in FTF transfers locally that would be good candidates for hiding if the time ever came that searches were being performed.

However, I plan on doing everything I can to prevent it from getting to that point.
