I'm going to get myself a new 10mm pistol. I've got trigger time with the Glock and the Colt Delta Elite, but it has been a few years since both of those. Anyway, I want to get another one. This gun won't be a daily carry piece, just something I bring along when I feel the need to have access to the extra power of the 10mm, or most likely, just want to be different.
I'm looking at a Fusion Arms 1911 10mm, and a Wilson Combat KZ in 10mm. Now I've never seen a Fusion Arms in person, nor talked to someone who has, but it looks good on the web-site and seems to have good genes. Does anybody in the forum have hands on experience with this gun or any other Fusion model?
I do have some Wilson Combat's. Great guns,,,, but pricey. The KZ is a double stack poly frame and I was also wondering if anyone had one of these in 10mm. I like the gun, but wonder about the poly frame vs. the 10mm pounding (yes I know that the Glock is a poly frame also).
I have also looked at the Dan Wesson and Kimber, but both guns lack many of the features I want (ambi safety, adj n/s, mag funnel, 3.5 - 4 lb trigger).
Thanks for any insights!

I've heard good things about Fusion. Check out 1911auto.org. There is a group for Fusion owners there.

I would also check out Dan Wesson's 10mm in 1911. They have been getting great reviews.

The Glock Model 20 is your best bet IMHO or you can get a Glock Model 21, buy a 10mm 6" barrel and 10mm mag from Lone Wolf. Have a 45 and 10mm to shoot.

The Glock is considered the strongest 10 out there. The LoneWolf barrels are good. Go with the LCI extractor. Nice situation for sure. I have the latter.

I wish glock would make a g20 long slide. then that would take the cake for me!

depends on what type of pistol you want to shoot the 10mm out of; i'm sure they all have strong/weak points.

10mm

I'll being doing mostly target style shooting with the 10. I may, okay I will, sometimes run it through a morning of IDPA shooting. The EAA is a good gun, I had one, but I didn't like it. The Glock is a good gun also, but more like a tool to me. A 1911 is more my speed, just which one.

Any 10xx series S&W. I had a 1006 with rubber Hogue grips. The heft of the piece and the grips really tamed even the full-power loads.

Don't count out a 10mm revolver like a S&W 610. They give you the option of shooting .40 S&W from it also.

I want a 610. Maybe George Bush will buy me one with this economic stimulus plan he has:)

Here's a 1076 I recently traded away. Nice gun, but I'm simplifying calibers.
