I just got back from Bass Pro and it was the Standard URX that's $300. This one is located across the state line (KS) and the new one in MO is supposed to open on Feb. 23rd. Ill check the local shops to see what they sell for.

The biggest part of getting the "right" .22 is fit and feel. Look at a number of models and brands. I have a Buck Mark Standard, Ruger MKIII Hunter, Ruger MKIII 22/45, Ruger MKII GC and an S&W 22A. They are all reliable, consistent shooters (accuracy probably has more to do with the shooter). All have strong points, but basically, there isn't much difference between them from a shooting standpoint.
