yes we have groundhogs that are way over 8 inchs tall and they are at least 8 inches wide. i shot one several years ago that weighted over 15 lbs, the state record is over 23 lbs. people who are into long range target or game shooting, use lazar range finders and run the clicks that are known by shooting at the distanes on the range. not to long ago i watched a women shoot a 5 shot 8 inch group at 1000yds with a 6.5x284 , lucky maybe,but i sure as hell am not going to stand there and wave at her. eastbank.
