Which G3 style rifle should I buy?

Years ago, I took a cheap pair of scissors and ground the tips down to fit in the detents ... then last week I saw that HKParts.net had a military contract HK sight tool on sale ... it looks exactly the same but it doesn't say HK on the side ... it was $20. I was getting a couple other parts and had them throw it in with my order ... works great ... the scissors I used for years worked fine too, but they were ugly and I often wondered if people at the range wondered what I was doing to my HK with a pair of scissors!
