Which gun company would you like to own?

Savage. We would branch out into handguns, both revolver and semi-auto. They wouldn't be purdy but they would shoot like firearms are supposed to.

Denel/Vektor

Primary South African military contractor with sales from Croatia to Colombia.

U.S. legal Neostead style shotgun
U.S. legal CR21 [Tavor copy] rifle
ADP .40/.357 Auto pistols
Savage 99 style rifle from .22-250 to .338 Win Mag.
Pump action R4 rifles
Colt 1917 style revolvers in .460 Rowland and 10mm.

For me, it would be Lorcin. Then, in a few years, the name will be whispered with reverence in the military and police armories.

Colt's Patent Firearms

Give me the chance. I ain't skeered.

How in the hell could you not grow this company?

Move to Texas. Say bye bye to CT unions and state taxes.

Take your core craftsmen with you. (Money talks and all else walks....)

Maybe now that you are in Texas, there might be some prominent Texan who could offer insight on Gov't. contracts? Gee, ya think?

In a time when Retro cars are hot, is it possible that some old Colt's designs might sell?

Is Harley Davidson successful?

CHL CCW HOMELAND DEFENSE, jeez the media is doing your marketing for you.

ALL YOUR FOREIGN CRUNCHENTICKERS ARE BELONGING TO ME!:neener:

Valtro

With Valtro, I could start small and branch out, keeping quality control and customer service at its current amazing levels.

I would expand the product line into AR-style weapons, semi-auto rifles and bolt rifles.

Dreamin...

Definitely Heckler and Koch. Everything from P7s to belt fed 40mm grenade launchers. MP5s too! Their "Grey Room" in the US office has everything they have ever made. OMG, it is beautiful. Plus a bavarian manor house to go along with the ownership and a few little frauleins...JAWOHL! :D

Ruger.

In addition to what Boats said, both the SP101 and GP100 series would work GREAT in Titanium. Get the SP101 to about 17 - 18oz and it'll be a REAL contender in the CCW market for people who think the Scandiums are insane.

The steel GP100 in 10mm and moons would work great.

The SRH with a shorter barrel, Titanium and an 8-shot 357 cylinder would spank the living hell out of the "Performance Center" 357 N-frames.

On the SA wheelguns: do a new "high end" series, same size as the Colt SAA, with the improved metallurgy from the SRH 454. Priced ar around $700 - $800, you could undercut both Colt and FA. Offer TI on this frame and the 32Mag Single Six.

TI has merit in the autopisol line too, I suspect.

OFFER FACTORY TRITIUM ON FIGHTING HANDGUNS. Ruger tries to pretend they don't sell combat handguns. That's just a bad joke with the rise in CCW.

"Which gun company would you like to own?"

Which ever one makes the most money.

I'd be tempted to say Springfield Armory... But I'd have to add a line of of bolt rifles ASAP! And probably a few models based on the CZ75 platform. Both custom guns and carry guns.

Ruger wouldn't be a bad choice... have to add 1911s to the lineup.

And I'd be proud to own Colt's but would definately make some changes and/or ensure current changes would be ongoing.

Glock. Then I would block sales to states like Cali, and Ill., and NY.

Not to mention the profit margian is HUGE!

Ruger.

Expand the left-handed firearms market. Develop a 1911 clone and a handy dandy carbine to match.

Build a good '870' type with a Garand type safety (for use lefties again & you right handed handicapped folks;) with a extended mag, ghost ring site, and screw in choke barrels.

and then a good replacement for the m-4/m-16 that shot the new
'.240 Ruger mag.'
