HK USp ... living in California the beretta is too large when the law only allows us 10 rounds, I have 1911's already, and if its between the S&W MP and the Hk well then HK wins.

I voted for the Springer, but really, there are a couple others I would personally rather have.

I need a Big Bore Glock in my stable to keep my other Glocks company. As such, a G20 or G21 would be on MY list.

Well, funny that these are your options. I have a beretta 92FS about 10 years ago that I traded towards an HK USP. I still have that gun and absoluetly love it. I also have a Springfield "loaded" 1911 that is a very nice shooter as well.

To answer your question, though, it would depend on what you want to get out of the gun. If you want a gun to use as a tactical home defense weapon I would go with the USP. If you want a target/range gun then I would go with the Springer. You might also consider a nice Sig Sauer. I find them to be a great fullsize and compact IWB or OWB concealed carry gun. A great no thrills SA/DA single stacked weapon with great accuracy.

If you don't already have a 1911 then the Springer. They're fantastic guns and the price is even nicer. The Beretta 92 is too big for my hands. The M&P looks interesting, but I'd rather have the HK. I like the USP variant one since it can be carried cocked & locked like a 1911, plus at has the dcocker for for the DA/SA fans, all built into one lever - very versatile. I love the way the one I've shot, and many I've looked at, have felt & handled. Since I aready have a 1911 and am using my money to buy another I'd get the USP in 45 if someone was buying for me. Though I wouldn't be the least bit upset with one in 9mm or 40 S&W either.
