Which is the most devastating .22 LR round?

My $0.02- Accuracy is the most important factor. You have to find the round that your gun shoots the best. It might be cheap stuff, might be highvelocity stuff, but it's tough to guess. I'm staring at 16 different varieties of 22LR ammo lined up in front of me on my desk that I'm gathering up to play with my new-to-me, slightly tuned 10/22. It's gonna be fun .

Isn't the velocity something like 900 FPS?

About that, depending on the rifle. I've never chrono'ed them out of a handgun, though. They do penetrate like the dickens. Excellent small game bullet.

I have played around with the NAA Mini Revolvers in .22 LR and .22 Mag.

This is true and I found out my 10/22 liked the cheaper .22 LR lead nose blazer round as far as accuracy goes.
