Dan Wesson does have a really nice .40 S&W 1911 with all the stuff I'd need on a 1911 (ie: ambi-safeties).Not interested in a .40 S&W? It has my vote, Good both for competition and defense, and is readily available.
Well the choices I listed are for the following reasons. I would get the 10mm so I wouldn't buy a 357 revolver, I would get the 38 super out of pure curiosity for the "reloader's dream round" and then I considered the 9mm for affordable plinking. I wish I could have them all.Not interested in a .40 S&W?
