Which scope for this Kimber 84M in .257 roberts?

Which would scope would you put on this Kimber 84M in .257 Roberts. I have a Leupold VX-1 1x4 on one of my rifles that could be moved to the Kimber and a Leupold VX-1 3x9 in an unopened box. Another option is to sell the 3x9 and buy something else.

3x-9x will be suitable for almost all North American hunting applications. I say go with it.

I did that with mine, it functions and shoots flawlessly.I have taken game all over North America with it. Nice little 7lb rifle in 300WSM that wears a Swarovski 3.5x10. Dont think I wasted any money scoping it.

Mine is just as pretty. Fairly accurate too. Does not fire every time, and about 1/3 of the time won't eject the empty.

I have a Kimber 84M Classic Select in .257 Roberts and it is one of my favorite rifles. Mine shoots 3 shot groups into 1-1.5" at 100 yards as long as the barrel does not heat up too much. I have a Leupold VX3 2.5-6x36 scope on it and feel that this scope is perfect for this rifle. My rifle has no problems at all. I have shot 5 deer with it thus far with excellent results. Overall excellent deer rifle in my opinion.

Wyohome, if you have such problems with your rifle, why not send it back to Kimber for service?
