I'm looking to replace my trigger group on my DPMS. I have been looking at two brands , the timmney drop in, and the geiselle triggers. Both are pricey, and I've heard some bad reports on the timmney. Which one would be the better trigger?

I recommend Jard single stage triggers, if you're willing to entertain other options.

I have a DPMS heavy barrel upper and my built lower has a Geiselle SSA. It's a drop in, non adjustable trigger, simple all around. Outstanding for the money and a great product from a great American company. JMO.

Decisions,decisions...

Thanks guys! Now I can mull over the other choices as well. I am a rancher in NM and I shoot everything you can think of. I shoot 1000 yards with a .300 win mag, and I do fairly well with that. I shoot 5 to 800 with a M1 A1 and likewise do well. with my DPMS I'm just looking for a carry rifle in the pickup for coyotes and or other predators, I just hate the trigger on it now. My fine tuned rifles all have triggers in the 4 pound range or a bit less. I looked at the geissele trigger because of the light pull, also for the safety reasons of laying it down in the seat without worrying about a bump discharge.in other words , I don't need a competition type trigger just one that I can pull and stay on target. I'll look at the jard and see what I think, but it sounds to me like the Geissle is the best choice for what I'm wanting it for. I'm not planning on using it as a combat trigger here in the sticks, but........ in todays world... ya never know!
