Like many on this thread, I own both Sigs and Glocks, and I won't part with either. They're excellent pistols all around. (In the spirit of full disclosure, I don't own a 226, but I'm sure it's typical of Sig's build quality.) For everyday carry, I did switch from my Sig 238 to a Glock 42 and am very happy I did. The Glock is lighter and the ergonomics (for me) are excellent.
Often, I feel like the Glock vs. Sig debate is like arguing which car is better -- Mercedes or BMW. Honestly, most of us would be ecstatic with either.
