it's nice to see

Cz is really catching on. If you combine the cz results with the similarly gripped highpowers the competition doesn't even come close. They are two different guns with very similar profiles and grips.

There must be somthing to this pattern. If Witnesses were part of the poll I wonder how many more would confirm that these ergonomic patterns are tops.

I am surprised the Sig dropped behind competition. It had the most votes for the first few days... As for the Witness - don't worry. Anybody who would vote on Witness already voted for BHP or CZ :D

Who makes the best 9mm?

The SIG's are nice. The look and feel is unparralled. However, when a handgun cost this much you have to wonder about the vote from the guy who paid for one.

I had to consider this myself because I do like the SIG….A LOT! My range buddies and I all fee the same. We even did a bit of email research and polling ourselves.

If you got a bad deal on a car and paid a ton of money for it…are you going to tell everyone that you got screwed? Of course not. None of us would. It’s human nature. You’re going to tell everyone what a wonderful piece of machinery you own, even though you’re still walking as funny as the whore of Babylon.

My buddies and I plink on the rifle range with our CZ's…..why? … Because we can!... And because we can hit the damn target at the 90m. We can't, however, accomplish the same results with any of our other toys… and that speaks volumes. We have nothing against the SIG; we love them just as much as we love our BHP ‘children and our Glock ‘children.

One of the Moderators for the CZ Forum actually told us in an email that he was not as partisan to the CZ’s as some. He liked them but he did not think they were the best. (Sounds fishy, huh?)

We couldn’t help but wonder why Mr. Sherrill was even a moderator on a forum that he didn’t believe in. But he spilled it out in his email. [We’ll be glad to forward the email to you upon request.] He said that he owned a SIG P-210 and just sold it to pay for a Pick-up truck that he purchased. He said that it paid for half the price of the truck. Go figure. Gee…sounds more than a bit biased because of price. ‘Ya think?

Now that he drives his SIG to work do you think that he is going to vote against it? Har Har Har Har!

When we compared the CZ to all the rest of our toys, ……. the CZ’s consistently out performed. And none of us had to sell a car to buy one.

Money is a peculiar factor in voting. You can’t overlook it and you can’t favor it.

I really like the SIG myself. I shoot my buddy's SIG sometimes.
Haven't bought one myself.:)

Another vote for the CZs! Very reliable and great ergonomics. Then followed by the all around tool - Glock 17. Torture tested, simple and reliable.

BHP. I have a tangent sighted Inglis and a 1996 vintage Israeli Mk III. Neither has ever bobbled on decent ammo and while not as accurate as a good 1911, do OK.

Plus, unlike a polymer-framed pistol whose name starts with "G" and ends with "K", it has an elegant air to it.

I am no longer bound by my agency's (sometimes unaccountable) taste in firearms so can indulge my own tastes.

The BHP is not my first choice in a "go to war" pistol but that is more a cartridge issue than a platform issue.

Not to mention that the pistol has a lot of real world combat time under its belt. That outweighs a lot of idle talk.

I wonder how many people who actually voted for CZ had the chance to shoot and compare BHP and CZ-75B side by side? I know I have. While I like them both, I would take the BHP over CZ. My BHP has better finish and trigger. CZ has this funny single action pull, not crisp... Feels like something ain't right when you compare it to BHP trigger pull, even with the disconnect.

I also like BHP for the simplicity, comparing to CZ. The mechanics are just beautifull. While these two guns compare quite evenly out of the box, the BHP has a potential for greatness...

I have. I just like the trigger on my 75B better. Also I find the Magazine safety as a flaw. I don't like it. I can also shoot my 75B alot more accurately than my father-in-laws BHP. Thats why my vote is for the CZ.

BHP, S&W 952, Sig P220 (9mm), P225, P228, P210-6, CZ-75 (Pre B), Glock 17 & 19, HK USP 9 Compact, and I'll also throw in the STI Trojan 1911 in 9mm.

Ha, the magazine safety. It can be easily removed. Just like that little spring in the magazine well on CZ that prevents magazines from dropping free - same kind of flaw. That spring has it uses, just like the mag safety on BHP. If you don't like it - no biggie, just remove the part. The gun works even better without it.

I don't own a SIG 210, but my friend has 2. The gun is the shizzy, plain and simple. I've shot at least 500 rounds through it.

CZ The Best

My vote goes to CZ.

Quality and accuracy, for a good price and in a nice package.

Taurus 92 pre-decock.

Carry it cocked'n'locked or hammer down. Your preference.

I've dropped mine in mud, sand, water, etc. on expeditions in the woods, turned it upside down, shook it, and shot it. No malfs.

DA is smooth and SA is crisp.

The new ones are not like this. They're rough and the trigger is terrible IMO. They went to plastic sights which may come loose.

If I find another pre-decock I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

I've carried the one on my side for 6, going on 7, years, starting at the age of 20* when I felt I was ready- at 18 I didn't feel skilled enough so I took two years to learn and practice first.

*Before anyone jumps on me, I live in Indiana and you may get your permit at age 18 if you wish (must issue) and carry legally, open or concealed.

O.K., call me a cynic but why do four out of the last five CZ votes only have one post each? One of them is named CZman for God's sake!:cuss:

I think I am going to re-register 500 times as Lorcin man, Lor-sin man, lorcin$15, GhettoLorcin, Lorcindude, LorcinPimp, Lorcinthereisnosubstitute, Loricinperfection, etc. I demand that Lorcin get a spot in the poll.
