Browning A-bolt in .300WM with a Boss system. Named Boomer. Ever shot one, you'd know why:) TC 209x50 named Davy.

I don't really name them but I refer to my Mossberg 535 w/ Mossy Oak camo "The Mossy" and the revolvers "equalizers" but I haven't given them any "cute" names like I did toys and pets when I was a little kid. :D

I figure if I got a .44 mag then i would call it "Harry" ;) A M1 Garand "Gran" and a 1911 "Torino" :D

Guilty. We use the names as sort of a family code. If I ask my daughter if she is traveling with the twins or her boyfriend, her answer will tell me if she has her Smith & Wesson MP 40c (twins) or her boyfriend (Walther). My son and I carry CZ 75 PCR's, they are Suzie and Caesar. We use the names when company is within earshot because we don't always have time to get into protracted discussions about why we go forth armed. We try to enlighten as many people as possible about the reasons we carry, but sometimes you just can't. Plus the kids like it. They call my Mossberg 500 Tactical Thumper. The SKS and AK are the Russian exchange students.

I do not name them individually, however, I never go anywhere without my Buddy:neener: so in a sense they are all named Buddy when I carry them.

In over 35 years of shooting, I've never named any gun until this one......For some reason, I started calling it "Boris" and the name sorta stuck.

I named my 300 h&h S.O.B. when I didn't have enough scope eye relief and my nose was bleeding, I just have a standard size nose.

I don't name mine, generally, but I did give a name to my Saiga --

Tin-O-Saurus Rex, Son of Punch-Press.

Glock 17 - Regina
Mini-14 - Etta
AR-6.8 - Ella

Sadly enough my PLR-16, Aretha, was stolen. Those are the only ones that have received a name so far.

Funny and practical.

I call my 1894C Fluzzie. Every time I take her out I have a lot of fun and she's cheap to get loaded.

Nothing practical, just funny.

All of my guns are called what company made them, EX: "My Glock, My Remington, My CZ, etc." I don't have more than 1 gun from the same gun company so I don't need to worry about the "what if" question.

I think this is a really silly thread, naming guns?

P.S. "Old Tom" (Born at the LSA company in 1905) thinks it's real silly too!:neener::neener::neener:

Guilty. You don't wanna know.... Just don't tell the GF that they're all named after hot chicks. Lol, the other day she asked me "So how many guns DO you have, anyway?", after finding out that I bought two at one gun show. I skirted the question, of course.
