Who's shootin' a "tactical .30-'06"?

Is all fine and dandy except one minor issue, they do not come in 30-06

Rolling eyes notwithstanding, I do own and operate a real live .30-06 Stealth. I am afraid I am the exception that disproves the rule...

To me, "tactical .30-06" will always be an M1 Garand.

but I mean for long range, mildot reticle type stuff. snipercountry.com stuff...

OK, an M1D with a modern mildot scope. . .


Oh and guys are talking about "heavy barreled Winchester Stealth in .30-06".
Winchester's "heavy" barrel '06 was the Black Shadow. It's a heavier-profile barrel than normal, but not as heavy as the one on the Stealth.

How about this 30.06?

I have the Ramline. Bell & Carlson makes (made?) one, advertised in Brownell's, but it is around $200.00.

I have a Remington 742 with an Aimpoint 1000 mounted on it, plus a couple extended (10 round) magazines!
