I am going to ask the question, and please bear in mind it is with the utmost respect for the moderators...
I hope everyone that participates in this thread keeps an open mind.
We are all here at the invitiation of the good folks that run this forum. I respect that. I consider one or two of the Mods good friends and would do nothing to disrespect them...
I am looking for an answer.
My question is: Why during an election cylcle, can we not discuss the political positions of the candidates, particularly in regards to gun control issues?
My gut feeling is that it is to much of an emotional discussion to be effectively moderated, and that this tests the frustration level of the good folks that run this board ~ and that they have to put this rule in place, for the sake of civility..
If so, is there a way to openly discuss the issues that many of us hold dear...without allowing PC to control the discussions?
Guess I'm frustrated that we, the gun community, are not able to stay focused on the candidates and effectively voice our concerns. And in doing so, bring forth a common voice that tells the rest of the world about our concerns.....We seem to be censoring ourselves.....with no help from the gun control groups
Again, please keep this discussion civil and consider the difficult job the forum moderators are placed in ~ when the topic is discussed...
