About a hour ago my dogs were going off. My daugther and I went out side to see why the barking. Their he Stood the 12 point Buck that all the hunters on my road have been trying to nail . No more than 15 yds from me in my side yard.. I looked ,he looked ,dogs barking. Hand in my pocket How many 380 HP will take to down this buck and piss off all the hunters. No Can't risk shooting with a 380 . Tell daugther to stay put and I slip back in house for my 44mag levergun. Now every pistol in house loaded but no long guns. Had to find ammo in drawer grab couple rounds and out door. Buck is waving Good By!! with big white tail and I am left holding a rifle. Guess what has a couple rounds in it now and will stay that way remainer of hunting season. Since was on my land no Lic would have been needed.

He likely lives in back of my house as I allow no hunting on my 50 A of woods. except for close friends and family.

Yep - you've got to love those situations. :banghead:

A couple of weeks ago, my crowd and I came in from a morning hunt to fix some lunch. We're standing in the kitchen, my dad looking out the window waiting for his turn. All of the sudden, he and my brother start yelling and running for the door. :what:

My brother makes a dive for his truck and then looks like the air has been let out of him. :(

About 75 yards away, THE buck that everyone had been talking about walked out into the road (liberal use of the word road - more like trail) that goes down into one of our fields - stopped - looked up toward us for a couple of seconds - then disappeared into the brush. :neener:

They know exactly how to torque us up, don't they?!

Luckily, I didn't see it and had the luxury of harassing them about it the rest of the day.
