These are a few daily incident reports from my hometown Police Dept. Most of these incidents occurred within a few miles of my home.

900 blk. of N. Alfred St. 11-13/ 7:30 a.m. The victim, a 32-year-old Alexandria man, was approached by three men as he walked through an alleyway. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and struck the victim on the head with it. The other two suspects then robbed him and all three men fled on foot. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 20-29 years old, 6'-6'2", 160 pounds and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 20-29 years old, 5'6", 140 pounds and wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans. Suspect #3 is described as a black male, 20-29 years old, 5'8", 150 pounds and was wearing a blue sweatshirt with a white t-shirt underneath, blue jeans, and a silver crescent moon emblem hanging from a silver chain.
1200 blk. of S. Washington St. 11-12/ 10:00 p.m. The victim, a 40-year-old Alexandria woman, was approached by the suspect. He grabbed her from behind and the victim began to scream. After a brief struggle, the victim let go of her purse and the suspect then fled from the area on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, 25-35 years old, 5'4"- 5'7", 130-140 pounds and was wearing a beige jacket and a baseball style cap.
6000 blk. of Edsall Rd. 11-01/ between 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. The victim, a 47-year-old Alexandria man, was in a parking lot unloading his car when two suspects approached him. They held an object the victim believed to be a knife against his side and demanded his wallet. The victim gave the suspects cash and they both fled. The victim was not injured. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 15-20, 5'10"-6', 160-180 pounds, and wearing a tan, hooded coat. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 15-20, 5'6"-5'8", 150-170 pounds and wearing a dark, hooded coat.
Intersection of Duke and N. Paxton Sts. 10-31/ 9:00 p.m. The victim, a 41-year-old Alexandria man, was walking home when he was approached by two suspects. One of the suspects struck the victim in the head with a baseball bat or some type of wooden club. The victim fell to the ground and another blow was delivered to his head by the suspect with the bat. Both suspects continued to assault the victim while he was down by kicking him repeatedly. The suspects then fled from the area on foot. The victim was taken to Inova Alexandria Hospital where he is was treated for his multiple non-life-threatening injuries. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 6'-6'2", 350-400 pound and was wearing a white tank top, dark sweat pants and white sneakers. Suspect #2 is described as a black male.
3800 blk. of Executive Ave. 10-31/ 4:40 a.m. The victim, a 22-year-old Alexandria man, was walking home when he was approached by two men. One of the suspects was armed with a large stick and struck the victim in the face. After the assault, the suspects fled on foot. The victim was taken to Inova Alexandria Hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening injury. The suspects were described as being Hispanic males wearing dark clothing.
5400 blk. of Taney Ave. 10-29/ 10:30 p.m. The victim, a 43-year-old Alexandria woman, was approached by a man. The suspect grabbed her purse and forcibly removed it from her arm before running away. The suspect is described as an Hispanic male.
5400 blk. of N. Morgan St. 10-19/ 9:45 p.m. The victim, a 34-year-old Alexandria woman, was walking when she was approached by a man. The suspect grabbed her purse and forcibly removed it from her grasp before fleeing on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years old, 5'4"- 5'5", 140-150 pounds and was wearing a black leather coat, dark shirt and blue jeans.
1200 blk. of Oronoco St. 10-26/ between 7:15 p.m. and 7:21 p.m. The victim, a 38-year-old Alexandria woman, was walking when she encountered three suspects, one of whom stood in front of her. He grabbed her and the two others stole her purse and shopping bag. All three suspects then fled but in different directions. The victim was not injured. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 15-18, 5'10"-6', 155-165 lbs., and wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 15-18, 5'7"-5'8", 150-165 lbs., and wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. Suspect #3 is described as a black male, 15-18, 5'8"-5'10", 155-165 lbs., and wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
