Why should I buy the S&W 2.0 10MM.

Congrats on your 2.0. A person can never own too many 10s
The only reason I haven't bought a 10mm M&P is because the clueless sleepers in charge at S&W were way too slow at joining in on the current 10mm market. But I'm glad they slept on it.. I ended up with the XDm. I like it so much that I sold the G29 two weeks later. If Springfield ever produces a long slide version I will buy it and possibly sell the G40.
I must add that S&W deserves much respect for offering the 10XX series 3rd Gens while the others slept.
The cost of production and the sense that the 10mm market was going away for good are a couple of reasons production ceased.
My 1006 will never be sold off while I still have a pulse.

The sights on the S&W look very high from photos... how do you like them?

They are and I kind of like them. But, I stopped at Cabela’s this morning and they had a Holosun HS507K for $299. Used military discount and a $100 gift card I forgot I had in my wallet towards the purchase. I like the circle dot I have on my FNX 45 Tactical so I went with the 507 since it offers 3 red dot options, one being the circle dot.

Does the optic make the front sight look so small and thin?

I have a G20 already and an XDM Elite so why should I spend the money on the new S&W M&P 2.0in 10MM?
Those two are similar to the M&P 2.0.

If you want to try the M&P, sell one or both of them. I’d probably let the Glock go, as the Springer has the better trigger and Glocks are just not that special.

That’s just my philosophy though. I try not to have too much duplication; not enough room otherwise.

Already purchased the M&P. Keeping all 3 for now. I’ll probably let the G20 go before the other two as well, but for now all 3 are staying.

Upon reading the title, my answer was Yes, because its a 10mm. After reading this, and the thread my answer didnt change lol! All i have is a G20 with 6" barrel.

I just bought some AR parts in 10mm. Should be a fun carbine.

I have a Hi-Point 10MM carbine and it’s fun to shoot. Been toying with the idea on building an AR in 10MM and will one day.
