Why use a Semi-Auto for Deer?

I see I never took into account the faster second shot.Like I said before I don't Believe in anti-gun retoric as I am a freakin gun NUT myself.And am a very firm believer in the 2nd amendmendt.My Buddy and I even set up at quite a few gun show's every year.I guess the way I worded the post wasn't exactly what I thought it should be.But I have emptied 30rds. in a few seconds with my bumpstock AR-15 HBAR.I shoot the 69gr.ss-109 boat-tails out of it.I have literally over 50 thousand round's for my Military type gun's and Re-Load for hunting.I first got into guns at age 12 and never looked back.We need a well regulated militia armed to the teeth in this country as the next revolution isn't faraway I my opnion.Just look at what is happening at this moment in time I'm in the 98%.

English is a pretty good language. I think they still teach it somewhere near Harrisville.

Funny but not nice. We have people from all over the world posting in a language that may not be their mother tongue. So ( I am also guilty of thinking why was it posted that way or written) maybe the grading of the sentence structure would be better left at the college or grade school. I wish I could write as well as many here in another language but am to lazy to put the effort out to learn their version of the "King's English". Think we do pretty well understanding our cross boarder friends who post here; it is the content of the thought that matters IMO not the hyphen or apostrophe.

There are GOBS of semi auto Brownings and Remintons in use in the woods of MN. I think this is the first time I have ever heard someone gripe about their use.

Marksmanship cannot be replaced with fancy optics, reload speed, rate of fire, black tactical junk, or drum mags. A Ruger Number One in the hands of a marksman will kill more deer than an AK with a 40rd mag in the hands of a hack.

You can hunt with any rifle .220 caliber or larger with center fire ignition in MN. That would make a grease gun legal to use. I suppose a sub machine gun would be horribly unfair to use? We all know that high rate of fire beats a well placed shot right? (sarcasm)

Which pretty much proves the point that the number of rounds you carry in the gun doesn't matter if you can't hit what you aim at.

Its not that I need 30 rounds but Why do people care if had 30 rounds? I'm guessing single shot rifle/shotgunners carry more than 1 round when they go to deer camp. If I can keep all my extra rounds in one mag it makes life a little easier. Besides the 30 rounders in the AK work, Its garbage that If I were to take it out in the woods hunting I gotta either modify a perfectly good magazine or buy a 5 rounder after market.

Sorry Lobo, but MOST states have it that you are limited to hunting with a 5 round magazine. Thems tha breaks I guess. Sucks, but until people get their heads out of their butts, legislators will continue to step on our rights.

Arkansas dropped that requirement a few years ago. Now we can hunt with a suppressed full auto with a 100 round drum if we like. Oddly no night scopes are allowed.
