I can't believe all the new gun products and gadgets on the market. Every time I get a new gun related flyer or magazine (periodical), the first thing I do is look at all the advertisement to see what's new. So many new products. I just love it. I believe in keeping our economy going by buying new gun stuff. However my wife just don't seem to understand I am helping the economy when I buy a new gun or shooting accessory. Oh well she'll come around someday. Right!

I have a "wish" question for everyone that reads this thread. If you could wish for a new accessory or new type of gun not currently on the market, what would it be?

A glock, 1911 or off-the-shelf AR that fires 7.62x25 (been having a lot of fun plinking with this cartridge lately).

I'd just like a reasonably priced, good quality 1911 pistol with forged frame and slide and no MIM internals and no nutty series 80 or shwartz or whatever internals. Don't give me a 1911 with fancy "custom" parts, just give me a plain jane pistol with the only "improvements" being dovetail sights and a comfortable grip safety setup. Make sure it's reliable and chamber it in .45ACP and 9mm. I'll add custom parts later if I so desire.

I would like an option in handguns to have the slide release itself when a new magazine is inserted. Historically, I do think this feature was on the Mauser HSc, a 80+ year old straight blowback German pistol. And why stop at pistols? Why not assault rifles, submachine guns, etc?

A steel frame forged Tokarev that is high capacity (20rds of 7.62x25), that can be converted to 9x23Winchester(16 rounds) and able to fire 9x23 Largo, 9mm, and .38 Super.

I just love Tokarevs now.

From Glock I'd like to see either a fullsize single stack .45 or a compact single stack in 9/40. The "Glock 1911" would be huge IMHO but I'd settle on them putting out a "Kahr killer".

A .45ACP that's as concealable as me P3AT...I know I'm dreaming!
It's hard to carry the ole officer's model in the summer.

My PT745 is as small as a .45 could be imo without it being too small to hold on too or so lite it doesnt fly apart. But yeh sign me up on one if they ever make that one.

I want a Dan Wesson 3" barreled Razorback with a Bobtail and in 10mm,and a matching .45 also all at $200 each.

I just wish that they would put products on the market when they start advertising them. I hat how they advertise for 6 months before you can actually get ahold of one.

I have a Walther P22 that does that if you slap in the new mag with some enthusiasm. And no, it isn't supposed to do that.

I would like to see someone selling hybrid holster kits (kydex and leather with mounting and belt attachment hardware included)
I want a mil-spec .45acp 1911 that shoots Glock 9mm pistols out of the barrel ... to end the perpetual .45/9mm debate
I want more options in the pocket-gun category

I wonder if it would be possible to have a pocket gun that is made of moving parts, in a way that one can have a compact package turn into a decently sized gun (easier to grip and shoot, support for more fingers). I'm positive it is possible. Some slimframed gun that bends the barrel or handle somehow.

Cleaning rounds... I think it would be awesome if they made a round that would "clean" the barrel and the action simply by firing the rounds.

since we're dreaming here....

How about a machine that can make primers, powder, and bullets out of common household cleaning supplies that are available at any Wal-Mart?
