I don't have a problem with that.
In fact, if he gets mugged, he could pretend to reach for his wallet and pull his piece instead, possibly surprising the mugger.
Yes, he could possibly sweep bystanders but are they in any less danger from the mugger's gun than this man's?
I do have a problem with it...it is just irresponsible, and it has nothing to do with sweeping himself or others during his presentation.
This is a classic case of someone spending money on what appears to be a decent gun and then being unwilling to spend the money on a decent system with which to carry it. Let me list the problems that are obvious:
1. It is a generic nylon holster which will collapse when the gun is drawn
2. It is a IWB holster which he has attached to a belt loop...not offering stable positioning
3. It is a "clip" holster which offers iffy security even when attached to a belt...it will likely come out with the gun
4. The holster is the wrong size for the gun...too big
5. The thumb break safety strap is below the rear tang of the frame
a) prevents a master grip on the gun before it starts coming out of the pouch
b) places releasing thumb out of position to receive the gun as it is drawn
{he might very well surprise the mugger, as he drops the gun at his feet; or looks like he is giving himself a lateral wedgy}
6. The magazine carriers cover too much of the magazine body (unstable grip), thee covering flaps are too large (slow), and the carrier is oriented incorrectly for a smooth draw. It is likely that the carrier was originally intended for the same gun as the holster, in which case, the magazines will liely just drop out when the covering flap is released
