have glock 31, but never did shoot it much. 357sig a minor pain to reload, bing more particular about bullet shape and composition.

got a lone wolf conversion barrel, conventional rifling, for 9mm; also extractor and ejector for 9mm. had a couple of g-17 mags already for the g-26. now i can do 9mm lead in the pistol.

minor setback finding my reloads would not chamber in the lonewolf barrel - altho some s&b factory rounds i had slipped right in. thought it might be a length problem; the hornaday 121gr HAP bullets are rather long snouted (too long in fact to fit in the 357sig mags without pushing back so far the cartridge case neck is well onto the cone part).

however turned out to be a diameter problem. even freshly sized 9mm cases (RCBS dies) would not fit into the lonewolf barrel. a pass through the lee FCD squeezed them down righteous. never had a problem with those reloads in the glock 26 or the beretta 92fs. guess the lonewolf barrel is just tighter, but still probably on spec.

hafta go test for accuracy now and build some oregon trail lasercast rounds.
