Does anyone have these sights on your pistol? If so,how do you like them.I have a cz pcr coming that I bought that has them on it.

I have the "big dot tritium" front site on my colt officers and I love it. I opened up the rear notch a bit and it makes for very quick pick up. I don't think they are well suited for the bianchi cup or bulls eye shooting, but out to 15-20 yards they are hard to beat for combat shooting.

I also have the "Big Dot 24/7" sights on my two CCW pistols.

I believe that the rear bar/front dot "Lollipop" configuration provides for me a very fast acquisition, but that they are "Combat" sights, not "Target" sights.

I would most likely install them on any pistol that I would use for CCW purposes.

They're good stuff. If my eyes were younger, I might not have the 'Big Dot', but I am completely sold on tritium night sights.

salty.

I had a set on my P220.

They are well-made and fit-for-purpose, but that purpose is pretty much limited to fast aquisition on threats.

I did not find them to be very nice on the 220 when shooting at the range; accuracy was a bit "general." I am contemplating putting a set on my 340PD. That one doesn't get shot much and if it ever needs to come out, it will need to come out fast.

FWIW,
Rich

I have a set of the Big Dot night sights on my Sig P245. They're very fast to pick up in low light. I like them. They're definitely not for target shooting but they work well for a defensive pistol.

Whenever I see them, I can't help but think of "Mr Magoo" :)

Definitely trading speed of acquisition for precision alignment.

people keep saying that about them... but I have no trouble what-so-ever placing rounds precisely where I want them to go.

I have a set of Big Dots on my Walther P99. They are OK, but personally I prefer the three-dot night sights from any number of manufacturers better. It I had to do over again, I would not have purchased them.

+1 for Ashley/24/7 Big Dots

As noted, they're combat sights, not target. This is not to say that you can't shoot quite accurately at pistol ranges with them, with practice. Early on, most folks don't like that they cover a lot of the target at closer ranges. Once you get tp the fact that your rounds will go where they should when you place the dot properly on the target, it will follow.

I had a set on a Kimber Ultra Carry and found them to be very quick to acquire and get on target with good on target hits. The Big tritium dot is nice in low light situations.

got em like em

Fast on target, but at close range it does cover the majority of the target as someone stated.

FYI,

I tried to put a front "Big Dot" sight on my 340PD that came from the factory with the "HI-VIZ green, light gathering" front sight and what XS offers DOES NOT fit in the factory hole; the hole is too large for the part that XS recommends.

I am not sure if the XS sight fits in the "Red Ramp" 340PD, but it probably does. I have installed an XS front sight in a "Lady Smith" J-frame and it fit fine.

You get a little more speed on target out to 10/15 yards. Past that, the dot's bigger than the target, and the miss rate goes up.

Personally, I took them off my carry gun, trading the 200-400 milliseconds speed advantage that came with a 70%-75% hit rate past 25 yards for a 98% hit rate past 25 yards. Speed can be reacquired with practice, the big dot blocking the view is more problematic in that regard.

I think I might try them for my G26. I rarely shoot the little guy past 'combat distances' so they should be fine.

Those who have them, are the decently bright?
