Fact is ... there is more money spent on Sporting Clays, skeet and trap guns than on HD guns.
Keep the black crappy looking shotguns for your HD needs with the folding stocks, flash lights, bayonets, lasers, holo sights and 25 round side saddles, but talk ***** about something that really is very popular in shot gun sports.
Try going to a big NSCA shoot and look at all the 30" 32" and even 34" barrelled shotguns with fancy paint jobs.
So you don't like Scooby Doo on a shotgun. That dosen't mean it's stupid.
The guy that painted that stock done a Benelli stock for me a couple years ago. It was for my wifes Benelli Sport II 12 ga with 30" bbl. He painted it bubble gum pink with silver marble accents. And Id bet that on a sporting clays field, she will out shoot most of you on the forum. Yep, it's real funny till you get your ass beat by a girl with a pink shotgun.
Besides, that stock is for a Beretta 390. When was the last time you priced a 390 stock. Alone the stock would fetch $300. Add a $200 paint job to it and that makes it a deal. I think I paid $175 for the pink paint job.
And the second pic, the one called the worst one. Well thats a Perazzi shotgun. Since its not made by Remington or Mossberg, most of you wouldn't know anything about it. But do a little research on Perazzi shotguns. Can you say 10K and UP.
One thing is for sure, if you come across the guy shooting a $10,000 shot gun with a painted stock on the clays range, don't start betting your milk money that you with your Ruger Red lable and all natural wood stock will be able to shoot with him.
Now there are a few out there, like most of the Tacti-COOL crowd here that will buy a high priced painted up shot gun just to fit in.
I suppose all that made fun of these 2 stocks live in white houses and drive white cars just like their neibors do. I mean, why would you ever want to express yourself.
And to those who actually have a brain and can see the true beifits of having a gun that appeals to women and kids. Bravo.... it shows there are some real people on here instead of just sheep.
