I’m also looking at the Turas small revolver, good old .357/38Altor.
So cheap you can afford to stash one or a few in 30cal ammo cans with a box, or partial box of ammo to use as a 9mm or 380acp "liberator".
If you were so inclined you could thread the muzzle and turn it into a trailer park welrod.
I have the Ruger MK2 and MK4… great shooters. Voulqusen sells uppers 3 for $80-ishRuger's .22s - the 10/22 for riflemen and the "Standard" for the handgunner.
I had a Taurus85 .38spl Snubbie, I liked it. Was a good gun. I have considered buying another when they pop up from time to time but the Airweights aren't too much more expensive so unless I find a smoking deal I'd just hold out for the Airweight.I’m also looking at the Turas small revolver, good old .357/38
that model 60 was my 1st rifle. I put probably 10 bricks through it and never once cleaned it. It finally started failing. I was 16 and didn’t know betterPre-owned ones. Here are a few deals I have gotten in only the last 3 years.
$250 for this MKII.
$450 for this 7615
$600 for this 141
$125 for this Model 60
I have alot of different carry senerios, from Shorts to Full on Seattle Winter. Lots of options, but, if I can proof a small stubby, I would carry it.I had a Taurus85 .38spl Snubbie, I liked it. Although I tend not to think much of .38spl these days.....
My favorite budget guns are of the AR15 and Ruger American variety. Good tools for cheap. For carry guns I'm not so budget minded. If Glocks shot up to $1000+ I'd still have to have one....
I have the 870 Express and that thing is GOOD! I would even consider it a SHTF gunMy economy dream guns
Revolver: Ruger security six

$250! that’s SMOKING HOTJust picked up a 590 (not an A1) new for $250 some months back.... that qualifies. That was a smoking deal, especially these days. I'm sure most considered the 500/590 to be a budget gun....

yum! save me the neck and butt meat! I smoke it and make a great base for collars greens or poke weed! The 870 express is a good value. I have one in .410.
The original LCP. A great, dependable little. 380

Totally humble guns...no pride whatsoever, lol. (They just work)
100% agree! Mossy is as good as 870! lolI own both and I feel each are amazing quality tools, what puts mossberg over the top for me is a safety on top which can accessed quickly regardless of if one fumbles it up or not lol
100% agree! Mossy is as good as 870! lol
I love a good pump shotgun
Oof, Security-series Rugers aren't "economy" guns any more. Even beat-up French police returns are going for $500 and high-condition guns are pushing $800.My economy dream guns

my buddies had a NAA .22 Black Powder! He kept it in a belt buckle and it was all ship to his door! That thing was a HOOT!I really hate to say it, but my NAA mini will probably win that, back when I bought it they were under $200, even after taxes. I’ve been told they’ve gone up a good bit but I really don’t pay attention to their prices now.
For some reason it’s a fun little gun, I don’t shoot it much but I don’t have many “budget” guns.
I like what Ruger makes because if their warranty Nd customer service. That there is Budget friendlyOof, Security-series Rugers aren't "economy" guns any more. Even beat-up French police returns are going for $500 and high-condition guns are pushing $800.
Bersas are still a good deal for a new pistol, as are LCPs. The Beretta Pico is a steal at MSRP if you can actually find one.
The Heritage RR isnt bad, but for a couple bucks more the Ruger Wrangler seems a bit of a better value.
I had a trigger job done to my MK2 and it’s shocks everyone how accurate it is. I have a reddot on it at it hits were you aim. Love that little guyI would say my Ruger Mk.II is one of my favorite affordable handguns that I have. Extremely reliable and very accurate it's one sweet gun to shoot.
In a rifle it's another Ruger, this time my 10/22. Like my Mk.II, nary a problem with just about any ammo, it's so accurate I knew after the first time I had it out, I had to get a scope for it.
As far as shotguns go my Maverick 88 has the best bang for my buck as it's been durable, reliable, and very versatile with a spare barrel for it for hunting.
