It's a mauser
My favorite firearms are revolvers. In particular I have been salivating over this one, A
Smith & Wesson 686 Plus 357 Mag 7 Round 4" Stainless Steel Black Polymer Red Ramp Front Sight White Outline Rear Sight. A shame it has the goofy lock.

PTR-91. New In Box two weeks ago. They used German tooling (except for barrels) for years, then gradually switched to CNC production.
* My A3SK model has a 16" barrel plus a factory-welded upper rail.
The sight distance is the Same, whether an 18" or 16" barrel. The A3SK is all-black.
The lousy trigger is not so bad, --if you use the recommended pull technique--
The first two holes touched, right in the upper center of a bullseye at 50 yards. Iron sights: tiny 200-yard aperture.
The "rest" for 50 yards was just an empty soft, small backpack.

I love my "wife of many guns."We can't have many wives but we can have many guns. Love them all.
The 200m aperture is marked 3. as far as I remember from 40 years ago when the G3 was my service rifle.
After shooting the MR920 Elite yesterday, I will shoot this the next time. Everytime I take one of about a dozen guns to the range, that one is my favorite. Especially if I only bring one.
