It looks like the muzzle blast is smaller than the bore. If the gun is ported, it looks like it's ported only on one side. Only one barrel is choked.

No shooting vest, shell bag or anything else to suggest that he is engaged in a prolonged shooting session. Bad form, vis-a-vis the position of the stock on his shoulder. Obviously a picture snapped at the Potemkin Rod And Gun Club.

His form is less than great. His position on the range (he's on the right of the tower) and the direction and angle of fire are entirely consistent with photos of other lefthanded presidents (JFK, GHW Bush).

As much as I dislike his politics, nothing about this picture suggests to me that he's anything other than am occasional, not- very- good skeet shooter. The fact that only his upper barrel appears to have an extended choke might just mean the lower barrel has a standard length choke of more generous proportion to ensure he hits some.

HECK HE LIVED IN CHIT- CAGO you know he never hit anything he's shooting at looks like perfect form almost except the gun not sideways.

I won't comment on much other than our President's posture... He looks a lot like more than a few police rookies at the range who never, ever fired a shotgun - and will never, ever be comfortable shooting one...

Folks who live in places where you fire your first shotgun before the age of twelve are usually very comfortable with them (and might have different views about firearms....).

I was on Facebook and there was a discussion about this picture. From what I read, Obama likes his watches and apparently he has never been seen with that specific one on. I'm not sure about the truth behind it, but it sure had some people convinced.

What I find funny is that he's wearing a pair of $30 muffs. You figure the president would have something a little better. But.....maybe their cutting back on spending.

The Stock is too high up on the shoulder, he got hurt on that shot. I wonder if that's a .410 or 28 gauge, nice looking shotgun though, I like that wood.
