I couldn't hit anything with the factory sights, so I bought an aperture set from XS. The front sight included with the set left me hitting too high, though another shooter was right on. So I put on a taller front sight and got it zeroed at 25 yards. But when I went back to about 130 yards I was still OK for windage but about a foot and a half low! I don't really think there is enough room left in the rear sight adjustment to raise the bullet impact that much. Do I just need to grind off the front sight, or is there a medium size front sight, or is there some other solution?
p.s. If I'm reading the package correctly the first sight was .230 tall and the second one .550. Measuring the first one I get .349 for the whole sight and .94 for the base, so I guess .230 is about right.
