This is an odd poll. The last time I counted I had lots of them in the same caliber. Especially with the price of ammo these days. It just makes sense to have more than one in the same caliber.
I also own more than one pair of underwear in the same size. :)

eight .22 LR rifles
seventeen .22 handguns
nine .25acp pocket pistols
three .32acp pocket pistols
five .380 pocket pistols
a couple of 9mm pistols
and some I'm forgetting I'm sure.

2 pistols in 9mm my glock 17 for the house and a glock 26 for travel.Soon I will have 2 rifles in the same caliber .223.With the elections coming and ammo prices rising I wanted simplified logistics.

Hmmm... I'm just the opposite with the upcoming elections. Seems like I'm buying a lot of different stuff. Just got in to the AK world in 7.62 and 5.45 because we all know AKs are the scariest of the "assault rifles" out there and I think they'll be one of the first to go. Get 'em now while you still can.

I usually hate to answer these types of questions it makes me count them and my wife might find out how many I have!

5 9mm (2 Glocks, 2 B&T PT9, 1Smith
6 22s (3 rifles 2 pistols 1 revolver)
2 5.56 rifles
3 .308 rifles
2 12ga shotguns

These are the ones in the same caliber and happen to be my favorite caliber’s if you could not tell.

Everything I own is .45ACP - 'cept the .460 Rowland... but I HAVE fired .45ACP through it, so I guess it counts, also.

Why do you have more than one in the same caliber?
Very good question. I refuse to answer.

3-1911's

S&W Mod 41
Browning BuckMark NRA
Beretta 70S
G 22
10/22

I have two 22lr rifles. A scoped marlin 60 and marlin 975 for practice with iron sites. I also have three shotguns in 12 gauge but I figured shotguns did'nt count.

Multiples of: .22LR, .22WMR, .357/.38, .40S&W, .44Mag, .223, .243, .308, and 12 gauge.

.45...Kimber Ultra Carry & SA Loaded Champion
9mm...SA EMP & Ruger SR9
.357...Ruger SP101
.32...Colt Pocket Positive
.22LR...Mark II & III

5 1911s in .45acp
5 S&W's in .357

When something works, you stick with it. I have other guns/calibers, but those are the two in which I run to several multiples.

2nd 41, that is a mighty cryptic post. I never meant to pry.
Sorry. I was just joking here. Came out wrong I guess. Bad sarcasm on my end. You're not prying.

I am a bit out of control and a little overboard with my spending lately. I really have/had no reason to buy more 45's after the first. Same with the 22's. After the S&W41 I should have stopped. Does not get any better after that.
Reason for same calibers: Just adding to a collection. It's a fun hobby/interest. If I were limited to 2 guns it would the Gold Cup & the 41.

I guess "the more, the merrier" must apply to both number of guns and calibers

High Standard Citation .22LR

Colt Trooper Mark V .357 Magnum

Springfield Champion Loaded .45 Auto

Dan Wesson Patriot .45 Auto

Dan Wesson Patriot Commander .45 Auto

Ruger LCP .380 Auto

Always on the lookout for that "next" gun......

10 in 9mm Luger but you did say "caliber" and not "cartridge". That lets in another 6 in 9mm Kurz.

Six 9mm Luger
Three .22 Long Rifle
Two .45 Colt
Two .44 Magnum (both are broken, though)
One .45 Auto
One .380 ACP
One .357 Magnum

(Note: the .45 Auto and one of the .45 Colts are the same gun, a Ruger Blackhawk convertible.)

In 44 caliber, I have at least 12 revolvers.

In 45 caliber, I have at least that many.

Going to rifles I have 8 that are 45 caliber.

I also have multiples in some of the smaller calibers.
