Since they're back in business making firearms again, I'd buy a Wildey .475 Magnum with at least 2, maybe 3, barrels. The 10", the 17", and the "maybe" would be the 12".

And brass and dies, of course!

Definitely something full auto. Always had a hankering for a Lewis Gun or a BAR.

I'm still covering my bases so it would be something a bit more practical but still eclectic. Maybe a Tavor or AUG? I do have a soft spot for bullpups.

I'm a simple man, I'd be happy with a S&W K22. I'd like it to be in good shape, but maybe not so perfect that I don't feel bad shooting it a couple times a month.

Some have already taken a 16" gun, correctly mounted on a ship. However, the mental exercise didn't say that we would have the money to crew and fire the gun we picked. If that were included, I would not hesitate on a railway gun.


Assuming that I will have to pay for the upkeep, anything crew served is out of the question. That leaves me with a, rather mundane, Walther WA 2000 as my pick.

I'd buy the very first Colt Paterson ever made can I sell it and invest money in a retirement account

I was at a LGS and saw a Ruger #1 in .450 bushmaster, a glorious mix of stainless and laminate with a flash hider. Too bad I’m poor or it would have come home with me.

I was watching Pawn Stars One Night and a guy brought in a Colt Paterson that they thought was number two. The appraiser they brought in said that if it was in fact the second Colt Paterson ever made it would be worth MILLIONS. It turned out it wasn't number 2. Apparently it was just a pistol assembled from random parts in the factory and the barrel assembly had a 2 stamped on it. Still worth a couple thousand though

I already have all the guns I need - and most all the guns I want.

I would stick the money into my retirement savings account since twenty years from now, I don't want my meal choices to be between "Nine Lives" and "Fancy Feast".
