It happens whenever Taurus or any budget priced gun is mentioned. You'll have the Sig, Glock, etc fanboys who aren't interested and who do not like the company is question who will do their best to derail a thread and try to tell everyone else they're pistol isn't worthy...
Unfortunately I have seen more of this type of "bashing" on this forum in the last few months. Either that or some responds with an answer that has nothing to do with the OP's questions and telling the OP to buy X instead of Y. None of it is helpful.
I personally like seeing guns from different manufacturers succeed. And yes I do own firearms from Sig, Glock and Smith & Wesson along with guns from Taurus, Kel-Tec and even Hi-Point. Heck, my $180 Hi-Point carbine functions perfectly and shoots just as accurate as my 9mm AR with quality parts used in the build.
Looking for a Taurus TX22 is on hold for a while since I picked up a Kel-Tec CP33 yesterday. And yes I own a Glock G44 too. And ALL manufacturers have some type of teaching problems with new guns.
My hat off to people like Gunny who do own both and have taken the time to do honest reviews and comparisons of both, listing the good and the bad.
